It was a lovely day for a Pool Hop! With how incredibly HOT it has been the past few days it was certainly nice to get the chance to both cool down and let the kids get some of their energy out.
The weather was perfect, the pool was cool, and the sun was not too intense. We had a wonderful time! While we were glad to be in each other's company, we missed those of you who couldn't make it and hope to see you at next week's hop!!

June 28th Steering Meeting
The Steering Team met tonight to discuss details for the upcoming Planning Retreat (which is the 2.5 day period when the Steering Team gets together to really hash-out the details for the upcoming MOPS year).
The team discussed the options for an evening MOPS meeting and how such a group would be run. The team also discussed meeting dates, registration fees, and other cost issues (including scholarship options and ways to offset the International Membership cost increase).
The team worked out details for the Bible Study homework that each Steering mom will need to complete before the retreat.
The survey that was distributed via the Facebook page was discussed including information about the favorite meeting topics from the 2016-2017 MOPS year.
Luke 4:18-19 (the 2017-2018 theme verse) was discussed and the theme video and discussed what it means to be Free Indeed.
A packet was sent home with each Steering mom to reflect on future topics, ideas, experiences, etc... and to brainstorm ideas to be discussed at the upcoming Steering Team Planning Retreat.
The team discussed the particular job descriptions for each Steering position and then closed in prayer.

June 30th Pool Hop
It was another beautiful day for our Pool Hop at The Farm! The weather held out just long enough (maybe thanks to a special rain dance some of our moms did??) and we enjoyed the sunny morning. What a beautiful pool and pool house!
It was great to see everyone's smiling faces and even greater to get to catch up on everyone's summer happenings.
A very special Thank You goes to Dawn for hosting us this morning!!

June 23rd Pool Hop
Thanks everyone for another great Pool Hop! It was a beautiful morning at with a few clouds in the sky. We could see some storms brewing in the distance, but it stayed nice over-all for our 4th Pool Hop!
It was great to see some new faces show up today and we hope you all will come back again! It was also nice to catch up with those mommas we hadn't seen in a while. We missed those of you that couldn't make it today!!
